The savings banks are our most important business and sales partners. We therefore see ourselves first and foremost as a service provider for and partner of Saarland savings banks.
On the basis of our comprehensive range of products and services, we support and complement the savings banks in their proprietary and customer business. In doing so, we are constantly professionalising and developing our range of services. In this way, we are jointly expanding our strategic partnership in order to strengthen our market leadership in our region over the long term.
The Savings Banks Finance Group Saar is more closely connected to Saarland than any other financial services company. This is also due to the role played by savings banks in the 1950s during integration into the Federal Republic of Germany and in the run-up to the currency reform. At that time, the institutions were actively involved in the political negotiations and helped to ensure that the savings of the Saarlanders were secured despite the change to the D-Mark.
Local commitment, future-oriented thinking and acting combined with the clear objective of being a direct and reliable partner in matters of security for its customers in the Saarland – this is how one could describe the corporate spirit of the SAARLAND insurance companies over the past 65 years. In close cooperation with the savings banks, SAARLAND is today a modern and traditional company with over 600 employees and is also one of the largest employers in the region. For private and commercial customers, it offers a comprehensive range of insurance cover from classical fire insurance to modern old-age pension concepts and is also the strongest residential building insurer in the region.
In France, as in Germany, we rely on cooperation with efficient partners.
