On 12 and 13 May 2026, the SaarLB Economic Advisory Board met in Paris. The trip combined the board\u2019s meeting with a varied programme of political, economic and industry-related discussions. <\/p>\n\n

The programme included, among other things, a visit to the Assembl\u00e9e Nationale, a meeting at the Banque de France, a visit to Alstom S.A., and discussions with members of the Board of Directors of the German-French Chamber of Commerce (AHK France). In addition, a meeting of the SaarLB Economic Advisory Board was held at the Saarland Office in Paris. <\/p>\n\n

The two days in Paris have once again demonstrated just how important it is to engage in face-to-face dialogue with decision-makers from the worlds of politics, business and public institutions. Such meetings are particularly important for fostering strong regional and cross-border networks. <\/p>\n\n

Special thanks go to the German-French Chamber of Commerce in Paris, with whom this trip was organised jointly. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for their dedicated support, thorough preparation and trust-based cooperation. <\/p>\n\n
