{"id":49501,"date":"2026-10-13T13:05:21","date_gmt":"2026-10-13T11:05:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saarlb.de\/joint-press-conference-of-the-saar-savings-banks-association-discussion-on-key-issues-for-the-future\/"},"modified":"2026-10-13T13:06:58","modified_gmt":"2026-10-13T11:06:58","slug":"joint-press-conference-of-the-saar-savings-banks-association-discussion-on-key-issues-for-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saarlb.de\/en\/joint-press-conference-of-the-saar-savings-banks-association-discussion-on-key-issues-for-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Joint press conference of the Saar Savings Banks Association: Discussion on key issues for the future"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Joint press conference of the Saar Savings Banks Association: Discussion on key issues for the future<\/strong><br\/><br\/>At this year\u2019s <strong>joint press conference of the Saar Savings Banks Association<\/strong>, held last Friday at the Halberg in Saarbr\u00fccken, the focus was on current developments and key issues for the future of the Savings Banks Financial Group.<br\/><br\/>Joined on the panel by representatives from the media, the President of the Saar Savings Banks Association, <strong>Cornelia Hoffmann-Bethscheider<\/strong>, the Chairman of the Board of Sparkasse Saarbr\u00fccken and also Regional Chairman of the Saarland savings banks, <strong>Frank Saar<\/strong>, the Chairman of the Board of SAARLAND Versicherung, <strong>Dr Dirk Hermann<\/strong>, the management of LBS Saar, <strong>Nathalie Elz<\/strong> and our Chairman of the Board of Management, <strong>Dr Jochen Sutor<\/strong>, discussed key challenges and prospects for the region. The panel discussion was complemented by the board members of all other Saarland savings banks.<\/p>\n\n<p>We at SaarLB also contributed our perspective to the discussion: our Chairman of the Board of Management, Dr Jochen Sutor, outlined the bank\u2019s activities in the local authority sector and presented selected transactions relevant to the Franco-German Greater Region. Furthermore, he assessed current developments in the property markets in Germany and France from SaarLB\u2019s perspective.<\/p>\n\n<p>The event highlighted the importance of close dialogue within the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe and with the public.
