The vacant position of Chief Risk Officer will be filled by Maik Mittelberg in the middle of next year.
This was decided by the Annual General Meeting at its last meeting and the 52-year-old bank manager, who is currently Chief Risk Officer at TARGOBANK, was appointed as a new member of the Management Board.

Since completing his training at Commerzbank AG, the experienced manager and banking graduate has held various positions in risk management at Commerzbank AG, IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG, NORD/LB and Deutsche Leasing AG. During his career, he has been responsible for the financing of local authorities, medium-sized companies and project financing in the renewable energies segment. He was also in charge of major change and transformation projects. Since the end of 2021, he has been Chief Risk Officer Corporate Clients at TARGOBANK and a member of the Executive Board of TARGO Leasing GmbH and TAR-GO Factoring GmbH. Maik Mittelberg is married and has one son.
