With a dynamic TAN generator and your SaarLB BankCard (debit card) or a special BankingCard (these cards are specialised for generating TANs and cannot be used for cash withdrawals from ATMs or for payment transactions), you can personally generate TANs for online banking – anytime and anywhere.
For the chip TAN system, in addition to a PC with Internet access, you need a TAN generator and a SaarLB card with a chip that is issued for the chip TAN user. You can order the TAN generator conveniently in the Sparkasse shop.
With your TAN generator, you personally make your transfers whenever you need them. The chip TAN system provides even more security for online banking by combining the TAN generator with the SaarLB BankCard (debit card) or special TAN card (these cards are specialised in generating TANs and cannot be used for cash withdrawals at ATMs or for payment transactions). And it gives you even more flexibility because with the TAN generator in your pocket you can also use your account while on the go.
If you are still using an old TAN generator for your online banking, urgent action is required.
