Requirements and programme content

Have you successfully completed your studies in economics, engineering or law, or are you about to do so?

Individual process

During your traineeship, you will develop your skills according to a development plan tailored specifically to you. You will work in your assigned department, in related units and in the business area where you will later take on your own responsibilities.

Foreign assignment

If you speak French, you have the opportunity to get a taste of what we do at one of our branches in Strasbourg, Paris or Lyon.

Competence development

Tailored to your development plan and your knowledge and experience, you will participate in a range of supplementary technical and methodological seminars.

Network

Various networking events complement the programme to promote exchange and enable you to learn from the best.

Sponsorship

Throughout the entire programme, you will be supported by a mentor from the department, Human Resources and the relevant units.

Project work

From the outset, you will receive various on-the-job training and work on current projects.

Become a specialist in 12 months

The trainee programme at a glance

1st month

Start

You will gain insights into the topics and processes of your future field of work. You will learn about the bank’s strategy and familiarise yourself with internal procedures. A personal development plan will also be drawn up for you.

2nd to 10th month

Work shadowing, further training and project work

You will shadow employees in neighbouring departments such as marketing or back office, etc. You will also gain insights into various staff functions.
During this time, you will participate in various seminars to develop your methodological skills (agile working methods, project management, time and self-management) and your technical skills. You will be involved in current project work and play a key role in its further development.

11th to 12th month

Specialisation phase

In the last two months, you will specialise in your future field.
