We have many years of experience in the German and French property markets and have been supporting our clients there for decades with challenging investment projects.

Real estate investments require tailor-made financing concepts that take equal account of economic viability, market dynamics and risk structure.

We structure financing for acquisition, portfolio and development projects and support our clients throughout the entire investment cycle – from the initial idea to long-term portfolio financing.

The amount of financing per property is generally between 10 and 50 million euros. For larger transactions, we draw on the expertise of our syndication desk and involve selected national and international financing partners.

Our financing solutions

Our range of services includes traditional property financing as well as structured solutions for complex projects.

In addition to portfolio loans eligible for cover pools, we also support project developments in the residential and commercial sectors – including the necessary guarantee lines. Furthermore, SaarLB finances property funds and selected projects with a defence connection.

We integrate sustainability aspects where they make economic sense and are strategically relevant. Corresponding ESG components can be incorporated into our financing concepts – for example, in energy-efficient properties or socially oriented utilisation concepts.

In addition, we examine the integration of suitable public subsidy programmes, in particular from current KfW programmes, and integrate these precisely into the overall financing structure.
