Who we are

SaarLB is the German-French bank, headquartered in Saarbrücken – at the heart of the German-French Greater Region. With further offices in Mannheim, Paris, Lyon and Strasbourg, we are present wherever our customers conduct their business – on both sides of the border.

We have been in existence for more than 85 years and have always focused on the corporate client segment, property and project finance, as well as institutional clients and local authorities/the public sector.

We pursue a distinct France strategy and support both German investors with their projects in France and French investors with their market entry and investments in Germany.

With the Saarland and the Sparkassenverband Saar, we have had two strong shareholders for many years who provide us with the necessary stability and security – an absolutely essential factor, particularly in today’s climate.
