Last Friday, 18 employees headed out to Warndt early in the morning, where we were met by the SaarForst district forester. As soon as they got out of the car, all participants were given spades and seedlings and planted a total of 80 sycamore maple trees under the guidance of the forestry workers. After the work was done, they talked over a hearty snack, and the district forester and his staff answered questions.
“Today, as part of our 80th anniversary activities, we were able to plant 80 trees together and simultaneously set an example for sustainability. A nice joint action by our employees, which once again shows what makes us special as a Franco-German regional bank,” says Katrin Spelz, Head of Human Resources & Communications.
