The first half of the year was characterised by stable new business, a slight increase in income and a significant rise in capital ratios.
Despite difficult and challenging conditions, SaarLB can look back on a stable first half-year overall. Thanks to its unique Franco-German business model, SaarLB has always been and continues to be a reliable partner for small and medium-sized enterprises in the Franco-German region and beyond.
KEY FIGURES AT A GLANCE (30 June 2025)
- At EUR 849 million, new business is almost on a par with the previous year’s figure of EUR 861 million.
- At EUR 78 million, operating income is EUR 3 million higher than in 2024.
- Capital ratios increased again, partly due to the transition to CRR III. At 17.1%, the bank’s core capital ratio is significantly higher than the previous year
‘sfigure. At EUR 866 million, hard core capital is also once again significantly higher than the comparable figure for 2024 (EUR 828 million).
